enchanting and quaint hotel located in a pretty comfortable area very close to the city center and the train/bus station of grenoble and many restaurants and bars. marvellous location, just walking distance from porte de france city gate.

We stayed at Maison Barbillon and had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, recommending things to see and do in the city. The rooms were clean and cozy, and we loved the 24/7 coffee and tea option. The breakfast was also delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and surrounded by great cafes, pubs, and restaurants. It was also a quiet area, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel.

This was the nicest hotel we stayed at during a two week trip to France. The price was affordable. The location was convenient to downtown shopping, restaurants and sights. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was exceptional. From the man who checked us in to the women who cleaned the rooms, they treated us like friends and family, not anonymous guests. It was a great experience.

The bed cover could have been cleaner, but the rest of the room (sheets, bathroom, etc.) was clean.
